The Eurotable, a computer-generated weekly ranking of Europe's top rugby clubs, is based on each club's performance over its past 30 games. Numerous criteria are used, including a special weighting to reflect current form. (more info)

Each team's rating is expressed as a percentage of the top-ranked team. It includes all domestic and European games played up to and including Sunday 19th May 2013. Next update by Monday 27th May 2013, 2100 GMT.

The complete Eurotable covers 38 teams.

Wilkinson's boot, a strong defence and the rub of the green helped Toulon win the cup (picture from www.bbc.co.uk)

Toulon
Secured their first trophy in 20 years by beating Clermont in Dublin to win the Heineken Cup!

Previous winners

Clermont remain Europe's top ranked club but the bragging rights go to Toulon (ranked 3rd) as they lifted the Heineken Cup.

In a tightly-contested final, Clermont dominated possession but with Jonny Wilkinson's 11 points, Toulon secured a famous 16-15 victory.

Leinster have closed in on Clermont at the top of the ranking after also winning a trophy (the Amlin Challenge Cup) in spite of their opponents Stade enjoying the majority of possession.

Aviva Premiership play-off final next weekend with Tigers taking on the Saints while it's semi-final day in the Top 14 with the two Ts and the two Cs ... Toulon-Toulouse and Clermont-Castres.
